I am a real life Buddhist Monk, and have been for almost 11 years. I was ordained in North Thailand and spent my first 5 years learning the Buddhist monastic code, chanting, and training in meditation. After leaving my monastery to practice as a wandering Thudong monk, I have become affiliated too no monastery, and dedicate every ounce of effort into the pursuit of enlightenment, using the Buddhist teachings and meditation techniques, within the observance of the three facts of existence, anatta, dhukka and anicca I set myself free.

During my time as a Buddhist Monk in northern Thailand, a special period of my life, I have spent hundreds of hours learning specialist meditation techniques that have helped me gain great insight into my own mind and that of all our human consciousness, bringing me peace and tranquility.

Slowly I have found my way back to Europe, where I was bought up living in our western lifestyle. I have gained a companion along the journey, a little street dog, who is affectionately named Marley Moo. I still live a very simple thudong life of a wandering monk, along with my adopted street dog Marley Moo. We have found our way down to the warmer temperatures of southern Portugal, where peace and solitude are sought for the practice and development of meditation. I have given up most of the trappings of society, I still have a mobile phone connected to the world, but no house, no transport, no money and very few possessions, just like a Thudong wandering monk should.

This last year has become increasingly fruitful in the pursuit of enlightenment, and just as my abbot has predicted, all those years ago, it would be in my 6th year living as a wandering monk that my practice would ripen and develop unshakable qualities.

Because of this understanding i have gained with meditation, I feel it is now time to share my knowledge of meditation, mindfulness and our human consciousness, each of which has been taught to me or passed onto me from a linage dating back to the days of the Buddha himself, so it is my duty to pass on these personal realisations from personal meditation experience to you.
