The Floating Meditation

The Floating Meditation

The Floating Meditation is very easy and simple to understand and forms part of our mini meditation series. Together we explore some old Buddhist secrets to help us all get some well deserved sleep and relaxation.

Lay down flat on your back in bed. Now just take a few moments to get in touch with the sensations in your body and that rising and falling of our chest as we breath in and breath out.

When your ready start to bring your minds attention to the physical sensations at all the points your body make contact with your bed or mattress.

Notice and become truly immersed in those feelings where you sense pressure laying on your bed.

Now on each out breath, allow yourself to sink a little deeper into your mattress.

Breathing in sense, experience, and notice the sensations the pressure your body is experiencing on your mattress.

With every out breath feel, experience and perceive yourself sinking just a little deeper into your bed.
